What is our vision for the future? The Movement Vision Lab collects ideas from across the United States and the world, from grassroots organization and think tanks and researchers --- and you! And rather than a long laundry list, we've grouped these ideas by the broader visionary goals they represent and then sub-issues which are described below. But the rest us up to you! Browse the issues, search the ideas, download resources and share your thoughts on what the future should be.

Active & Inclusive Society

Democracy goes way beyond voting. What kind of society do we want to live in? How can we make our society inclusive and mutually respectful? How do we respond to shared needs and create shared opportunity? Under this category, we’ve filed issues and ideas focused on improving the way we interact with each other, government and broader culture.

Issues

Community Based Economy Back to top

What would an economy that values all of us look like? How can we create market structures, urban landscapes and environmental policies that prioritize people, not profits? Under this category, we’ve filed issues and ideas for how to build an economy rooted in the shared needs of our communities, not just corporate elites.

Issues

Global Justice Back to top

Are Americans really linked with communities across the globe? If so, what does recognizing our shared fate mean for foreign policy, immigration and the health and well-being of all our communities? And how do we build global movements to achieve our vision for the future? Under this category, we’ve filed issues and ideas about the US role in the world and how to spread justice to every corner of the planet.
