What is the role of media in our vision for the future? What does it look like and how does it function? The National Alliance for Media Arts and Culture interviews leaders in the independent media field to discuss the future landscape of media and its role in a national and global context and strategies to get there. Five major topics arose from these interviews: The advancement of technology and the infrastructure that would be needed to support it; the broader media field and the creation of new media; the intersection of media and politics; the shift of media from a national to a global context; and intergenerational dialogue on the state and future of media.
