Here you will find everything you need to learn about Instant Runoff Voting. Plus a slew of multimedia materials to distribute if you would like to help the cause. Instant Runoff Voting ensures majority rule in a flawed system in which candidates do not need a majority vote and certain candidates are considered spoilers for more popular candidates. In this type of voting, voters rank their choices for a representative. If a candidate receives a majority of first choice votes, then that candidate wins. If ino one has a majority, the bottom candidate is eliminated and those ballots that ranked that candidate as first will have their second choice votes counted. This type of voting has a host of benefits and has been successful in communities abroad.
