A Tale of Power & Vision

A short film about why we created the Movement Vision Lab.

love it...

yes. That's right. I was never personally a pessimist, its one of the reasons I started organizing. In organizing I found a way to put my optimism to the challenge of doing. To take my ideas and make them real. That's when the mantra of "winnable" issues was first introduced to me. I'm from Chicago, I agree that winnable MUST be part of what we seek. But if we only go after the small wins, aren't we just doing what they would want us to do? Vision plus power, I like it.

The little film that could!

I like this film a lot. I've never been much of a pessimist, but a pragmatist? Guilty! This film helps me realize that pragmatism can hold us back as surely as pessimism will.
